As I learn more and more about real estate and get to know those who have more experience in this field, I am learning that so much to a successful real estate career is mindset.
If you follow real estate investors on Instagram or social media channels, you’ll likely see a combination of partially demolished kitchens, Home Depot Shopping trips, driving for dollars car rides, and inspirational “go-get ’em” quotes.
I am a sucker for inspirational quotes. I am a huge fan of positive mindset and happy vibes.
So because I want to follow the path forward that so many investors have been through, I want to also put my 2021 goals out there. It makes my goals so much more real….. and it keeps me damn accountable to myself.
So as you read this, please keep this girl accountable.
Earlier this year I posted these same basic goals on the gram for even more accountability:
I love the idea of breaking down your “yearly” goals into smaller, more manageable chunks. That seems easier for my little brain to digest.
I decided to give it a try after listening to the Bigger Pockets Real Estate Podcast #427 with Brian Moran.
He covers his “12 week year” and view on goal setting and it resonated with me. So I’m giving it a shot!
Quarter 1 Goals for 2021:
- Sell my primary residence (anyone looking to buy a 4bed/3.5bath townhome in Roswell GA for under 400k?)
- Be under contract with my first buy and hold
- Increase profits from my online business by 15% month over month.
- Personal quarterly goal: one physical activity each day. Doesn’t matter if it’s gym time, horse or bike riding, hiking, running, just moving!!!
I think that this list will help keep me in check and help me build my Quarter 2 goals and continue to keep things attainable.
What goals do you have for 2021?
I’ll check back and update for the other three quarters of 2021 when they come up and let you know how I did on my first quarter goals.
