The current project, the Henry House, is located at the end of a humble little neighborhood outside of Atlanta.

As you can see, it is very plain-Jane and in need of some cosmetic upgrades. Thanks so an awesome home inspector, I was prepared to fork over some money on some less glamorous issues with the house, but more on that later. 🙂
I paid 5-figures for this house and expect to sell in the 6’s. You know… after some cosmetic upgrades.

So to catch you up to speed, here is a list of things I’ve done so far the the Henry House:
Landscaping:
- planted grass seed,
- planted landscape plants,
- laid landscape pavers to beds,
- put up backyard fencing,
- cleared the brush, ivy, and dead trees from the backyard.
Lighting:
- replaced lighting in the kitchen and bathrooms,
- installed ceiling fans in the bedrooms,
- replaced hallway and entry lights with recessed look-alike alternatives.
Walls:
- painting,
- wall removal,
- replaced toggle light switches with rocker panels.
Bathrooms:
- replaced vanities,
- replaced mirrors,
- upgraded lighting
Kitchen:
- replaced old appliances with new stainless steel ones (still need to replace the fridge and dishwasher),
- new light fixtures,
- tore down a wall into a half-wall but still needs to be finished.
